Start, Scale, Succeed Mentorship Program

The Start, Scale, Succeed Mentorship Program facilitates one-to-one mentoring relationships that connect mentees with mentors across West Virginia to learn how to become better business owners. Mentoring helps you expand your network, gain new knowledge and insights, and build new skills.

Meet Our Advisors

Nora Myers



Nora Myers brings to Partner Community Capital an established track record of developing and successfully implementing strategies for new products and services in multiple environments – private enterprise, academia and Fortune 500 companies. She previously worked with start-ups as the LaunchLab Director at WVU’s Beckley campus and delivered business development support to companies seeking venture capital as the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Charleston, the operational assistance partner for Adena Ventures. She also served as a commercial lender to small and medium enterprises in the Washington, DC area. Nora earned an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington and a BS in Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute.

Kristen Beverage

Business Advisor


Kristen serves as a Business Advisor for the WV Women’s Business Center focusing her efforts toward 1:1 coaching for female owned and socially disadvantaged entrepreneurs. Kristen began her career on the Monongahela National Forest as a Resource Assistant where she focused her efforts on building the groundwork around recreation tourism economy development and community engagement; one of her main projects being the regional marketing campaign Mon Forest Towns. Shortly thereafter Kristen joined Snowshoe Mountain Resort as the Community Liaison and Executive Director for the Snowshoe Foundation.

Kristen has a Finance degree from the West Virginia University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Applied Community Development from Future Generations University with plans to graduate in Spring 2022.
